- Conducting comprehensive research and development to enhance our manufacturing processes and products.
- Utilizing your knowledge of powder, materials science, and additive manufacturing to create innovative solutions.
- Applying techniques such as laser powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, selective laser melting, electron beam additive, binder jet, metal injection molding, cold spray, and thermal spray in the development process.
- Overseeing metal powder processing, including milling, crushing, and hydride.
- Collaborating with other team members to design, prototype, and refine products.
- Implementing rigorous testing procedures to ensure the quality and performance of our products.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
- Documenting all research findings and product specifications clearly and accurately.
- Presenting research findings and product proposals to company stakeholders and clients.
- A bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience with research and development, powder, materials science, and additive manufacturing.
- Proficiency with laser powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, selective laser melting, electron beam additive, binder jet, metal injection molding, cold spray, and thermal spray.
- A strong understanding of metal powder processing, including milling, crushing, and hydride.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
