Catbird is currently seeking a Key Holder to join the team at our Wedding Annex to assist within the management team.

The Key Holder will help maintain store operations and maximize profitability through effective management of the floor staff and implementation of policies and procedures.

This role is responsible for continuously improving and developing store operation, taking ownership of the responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager, and acting as a role model to the rest of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for interactions and transactions on the floor and expected to have a high level of communication skills within the company
Manager on duty daily to drive team store sales results
Leads by example regarding professionalism, customer service skills, etc
Support and encourage staff to provide the highest level of customer serviceInform floor staff at start of day of any product updates, policy changes, or other miscellaneous information
Help to assist new employees using company tools and knowledge while monitoring and implementing to existing staff
Act as point person for both staff and customers, managing customer service issues and answering high level questions
Demonstrate an indepth knowledge of all merchandise
Resolve all customer problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
Assist sales associates with various customer service issues (i.e. dissatisfied customer, returns, defective merchandise)
Daily clienteling communication with wedding and engagement customers
Ability to focus and prioritize during busy times
Maintain sales floor to adhere to brand standards & consistently look for opportunities to improve it
All appointments are previewed and prepped
Communicate any inventory and supply needs as well as employee issues with Store Manager
Assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence
Open and close the store following proper procedures documented in the opening and closing checklist
Collaborate with store manager in areas of management, physical security, and inventory management
5 days per week availability at the Wedding Annex, including at least one weekend day
Personal integrity and time management
Must be proficient in written and verbal communication
Must be able to navigate Microsoft Office, Gmail, Endear and Acuity
Extensive product knowledge in wedding and engagement styles
