Exciting Technology at Westlake Corner

For the start of our training program, we are looking for an apprentice as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) at our location in Limbach.

Industrial mechanics operate large machines in factories, assemble finished machine parts, and program basic instructions into the machine's electronics.

As part of your training, you will attend block classes at the BBZ Hochwald in Nunkirchen and become familiar with topics such as hydraulics and pneumatics.

Attention to detail, teamwork, and knowledge of mathematics are necessary to fulfill your tasks. Workpieces must be tested and manufactured with precision down to the hundredth of a millimeter.

Training duration: 3.5 years of dual vocational training in the company and vocational school

Education level:
At least a middle school diploma


Training focuses:

  • Maintenance and monitoring of technical systems
  • Independent work on machines
  • Creating technical drawings and preparing materials
  • Assembling components into machines and ensuring and improving functionality
  • Preparing work processes, conducting quality controls, and independently identifying and eliminating causes of quality defects
  • Differentiating, assigning, and manually and mechanically processing various materials
  • Setting up and converting production facilities
