THE JOB AT A GLANCE:


Are you a problem solver who is detail-oriented and enjoys working with a team? Join the inventory control team to help ensure the accuracy of our products through our inventory systems.

You will assist in the daily review of inventory levels on hand, cycle counts, discrepancies, slotting and attributes. You will use research and analytical tools to solve problems and make recommendations for improvement to process/procedure.


A TYPICAL DAY:


  • Ensure all inbound receipt and shipping discrepancies are resolved to ensure inventory accuracy. Ensure integrity of inventory levels, status and locations.
  • Produce comprehensive root cause analysis notes on PO's, RM's, OE's, RTV's, Kits and VA's. Maintain documentation within Trend to ensure record accuracy with discrepancies and credits.
  • Perform daily cycle counts; identify and resolve required corrections to inventory and bin locations. Verify correct cross references are associated to the product.
  • Research and analyze purchase orders/sales orders and product, both in Trend and IRMS to resolve inventory discrepancies. Adjust inventory when necessary as a result of the investigation process.
  • Assist in the monitoring and control of nonstock inventory.
  • Kitting assembly/disassembly to ensure inventory levels are maintained to match sales demand.
  • Maintenance product attributes such as weight, dimension, zones and other various elements.
  • Maintain inventory of defective, damaged and missshipped products from vendors. Document and observe vendor policies for product returns. Contact vendors regarding returnable overstocked merchandise and negotiate the return of merchandise.
  • Oversee the disposal of merchandise that is classified as "field destroy" by vendors. Ensure proper documentation of discarded merchandise exists (i.e. swap meet product etc.).
  • Distinguish returnable vs. nonreturnable products from customer returns, record product disposition.
  • Manage RTV order processing, perform picking of these orders and work with Order Fulfillment and Traffic to ensure packing and shipping occurs for the return of product to vendor(s).
  • Propose inventory control process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

TO LAND THIS OPPORTUNITY:

You have the ability to be licensed as a powered industrial truck operator. Valid driver's license.
