    Adelphi is seeking Visual Impairment Teachers to provide direct and indirect support and services for students with visual impairment per their IEP for schools in Florida. The ideal candidates should be conversant with Child guidance principles and practices related to children with special needs including
    visual impairments.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Ohio certification for teachers of students with visual impairments.
    • Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting.

    Responsibilities:
    • Providing direct and indirect (consult) visual impairment support to students.
    • Providing visual impairment evaluation and re-evaluation support as needed for students in the region.
    • Providing instructional support for students in academic subject.
    • Providing instruction in the expanded core curriculum such as daily living skills and community-based instruction.
    • Developing, facilitating, and/or participating in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for students with visual impairment.
    • Other duties as assigned by the administration.
