General Job Description_

We are seeking a resourceful, experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team.

The Procurement Manager will support our projects, shop repair and maintenance, and will be responsible for all procurement and supply chain activities.

This position will be based in our Houston, Texas headquarters and will report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities_

• Support implementation of procurement processes in Sage 300 and OmniDek.
• Bid, evaluate and award purchase orders specifying key commercial terms and project requirements.
• Forecast and track company spend based on historical data and current projects.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Develop and update company procurement standards.
• Develop and implement costeffective contracting strategies for materials, equipment repairs, subcontracts, services and other commodities commensurate with heavy civil projects. Support other company functions helping to solving pricing discrepancies, quantity issues, etc.
• Expedite material deliveries in support of project schedules and equipment repairs.
• Develop and issue reports providing key procurement metrics for projects and Sr. Management.

Qualifications and Skills_

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• 5+ years of procurement experience preferably in the construction industry. Some field procurement experience is desirable and civil procurement would be ideal.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management a plus but not required.
• Indepth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation contract terms.
• Preemployment drug testing, background check and physical are required
