As a
warehouse order checker, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.

The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.

The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detailed, specialized work is the major focus. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.


Responsibilities:

1.


Order Verification and Processing:

• Verify and process customers' orders for shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare items for delivery, making sure the correct products are selected.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain awareness of product locations within the warehouse, following the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.
• Receiving of new products
• Sort, arrange, and label goods to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
• Manage return, repack and donation process

3.


Collaboration and Record Keeping:

• Work closely with buying and sales departments to ensure consistent availability of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.

Technology Utilization:

• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for all tasks, including order tracking, inventory management and order checking.
• Audit warehouse pullers to ensure proper scanning and efficient transfer practices.

5.


Physical Requirements:

• Be capable of lifting and carrying cases weighing up to 60 lbs.

6.


Warehouse Maintenance:

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Prepare products for inventory count cycles.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
