Job Summary:

The Room Attendant at The Sheraton Palo Alto is responsible for maintaining clean and well-stocked guest rooms and public areas in a timely and efficient manner.

This individual will contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring a high level of cleanliness and comfort for each guest during their stay.

This position is a full-time, salary role and will report to the Housekeeping Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $22 per hour, paid biweekly

Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards and guidelines
Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities in a timely fashion
Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures and surfaces
Vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and public areas
Report any maintenance issues or guest complaints to appropriate department
Adhere to all safety and security protocols
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests
Continuously strive to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime if needed
