We are currently seeking a seasoned fulltime Dental Office Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Position Overview:
As the Dental Office Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our practice.
Your responsibilities will encompass diverse aspects, including managing patient and doctor schedules, overseeing revenue tracking, leading our team, and cultivating positive online reviews.
Your adept organizational and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining high patient satisfaction levels and driving the growth of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise Front Desk Coordinators and ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Hire and onboard new staff members who align with the practice's values and goals.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes engagement, inclusivity, and high morale.
Patient and Practice Management:
- Manage patient and doctor schedules to optimize productivity and meet practice goals.
- Monitor essential practice metrics, including production rates, collection rates, revenue, and referral rates.
- Ensure smooth patient workflow and timely visits by managing employee and patient schedules.
- Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
Communication and Relationship Building:
- Build and nurture relationships with potential referrals to establish a consistent patient base.
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors, providing timely information.
- Implement effective communication strategies based on content and context.
Performance Management:
- Conduct employee evaluations, oneonone meetings, and team discussions.
- Challenge and support employees in their professional growth within the company.
- Encourage accountability and autonomy in completing tasks and responsibilities.
Online Reputation Management:
- Strategically work towards stellar Google reviews and maintain positive patient ratings.
- Encourage and facilitate positive patient feedback and reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong administration and management skills, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership.
- Proficiency in personnel and human resources practices, including recruitment, training, compensation, and benefits.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to assess customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Competence in clerical tasks and office procedures, including recordkeeping and file management.
- Understanding of sales and marketing principles, including product promotion and customer interaction.
- Conduit of change, with a focus on rebuilding company culture.
Education and Experience:
- Meet the minimum requirements of the position's essential functions.
- Preferred 5 years of experience managing dental offices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer.
- Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds as needed.
