The Program Coordinator will be a key member of our growing outreach Ministry at CityTeam Chester.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing quality services for the emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of families and their children.

They will work under the direction of the Program Director in planning and goal setting for the Mother and Baby program.

They will work directly with the client base to assess and offer whatever services are deemed necessary. The Program Coordinator will assist in the training of volunteers. The program coordinator will spend one day per week supporting CityTeam's Turning Point Community as necessary.


The Program Coordinator is a Part-time non-exempt position. Wrapped up in a Christian environment that values Teamwork, Accountability, Humility, Innovation, and Joy.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Under the direction of the Program Director, responsible for day-to-day coordination of CityTeam's Mother and Baby Program, including supervision and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Give spiritual leadership and counsel to program participants.
  • Supervise various program components as assigned.
  • Maintain database information on participating families.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of mother and baby work areas and basement.
  • Maintain inventory control over supplies, i.e., diapers, formula, clothing.
  • Must have organizational skill, the ability to motivate people, and be committed to getting the job done.
  • Assist in the recruiting, training, and sustaining of volunteers.
  • Must be a servant leader.
  • Advocate for CityTeam with those in your circles of influence.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Program Manager.

Requirements:


Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative experience
  • Minimum 2years' experience working in homeless services
  • Computer literate and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and G-Suite
  • Professional written and spoken communication skills
  • Valid PA driver's license with a clean record

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Familiarity with CityTeam's mission and core values
  • Experience leading interactive process group therapy sessions
  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment

Physical Demands

  • Stand or sit for prolonged amounts of time
  • Walk, bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Regularly walk up and down stairs
  • Talk and hear
  • Frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Finger and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms
  • Drive

Work Conditions

  • Days and hours may vary, depending on ministry needs
  • This role regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • This role will occasionally need to maneuver in tight quarters amongst donations, rolling racks, shelving, storage containers, stacked boxes, and a conveyer belt

Additional Eligibility Qualifications for CityTeam

  • Must have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must be active in a local Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with other Christfollowers
  • Must have compatible theology on major issues of CityTeam's Statement of Faith
  • Must be committed to serving God and the body of Christ
