DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be knowledgeable about availability of multi
- Respond to requests from nonprofit housing sponsors for training and technical assistance in a prompt and helpful manner, and tailoring training and information to best address their needs.
- Report monthly on grant/contract activities and housing development progress and develop any other reports that may be requested by NeighborGood Partners or a funder.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or Associate's degree with two plus years of equivalent work experience with a nonprofit, social service, or government agency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - grant writing experience desirable.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Empathy and understanding for low-income people and the challenges of finding decent, affordable housing.
- Highly skilled in the use of Excel preferred.
- Experience with real estate development a plus.
- Courteous and business-like manner in dealing with public and co-workers.
- Position requires use of personal vehicle for NeighborGood Partners travel and employee must maintain a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Abide by and comply with NeighborGood Partners Personnel Manual and Code of Ethics.
While this job description describes the typical duties and responsibilities of the position, there will be times when the staff person will be called on to do other and/or additional tasks for the organization to carry out NeighborGood Partners mission.
Pay:
$55, $75,000.00 per year
