Description

As the Chief of Staff (CoS) you will support the CEO in various ways to ensure SFCGs goals and initiatives are met.

You will take over smaller responsibilities and handle day-to-day activities by interacting closely with employees and identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.


  • Collaborate with CEO and COO to determine and prioritize business strategies.
  • Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork.
  • Determine key performance indicators and how to measure employee performance.
  • Work with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals. (See ORG Chart)
  • Respond to inquiries on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate and lead retreats, meetings, and workshops.
  • Serve as an advocate and liaison for employees.
  • Relay important highlevel business details from CEO to employees

Qualifications:


Strategic Leadership:
Proven experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and business management. Ability to think critically, anticipate future needs, and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership.


Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.


Analytical Ability:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to inform decision-making processes.

Proficiency in utilizing data-driven approaches to drive performance and achieve organizational objectives.


Project Management:
Extensive experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives from inception to completion. Ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Team Leadership:
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Interpersonal Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and cultivate positive relationships at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and resolve conflicts with professionalism and diplomacy.


Adaptability and Resilience:
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment. Demonstrated resilience in the face of challenges and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and driving positive change.


Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP) preferred but not required.


Work schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (in DC office) : 9am-6pm:

Wednesday (remote): 9am-6pm:

Friday (remote):9am-1pm

Compensation:
$5,000 monthly on a semi monthly basis; 1099 contractor
