Description

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Facilities Technician.

The Facilities Technician is expected to perform a wide variety of duties to maintain, repair and install equipment and physical structures.

Performs minor electrical repairs, plumbing maintenance, carpentry repairs, HVAC maintenance and repairs. Supports Special Events when necessary by moving tables, chairs, bleachers and similar activities. Responds to emergency situations during and after hours.

Essential Functions:

Demonstrated working knowledge and experience performing the following:
Plumbing
HVAC Systems
Refrigeration
Electric LOTO/safety procedures, respectable replacements, ballast changeouts
Carpentry
Paint
Mechanical pumps, equipment

Fire Life Safety

Basic working knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm system.
Fire Alarm, Wet and Dry Suppression Systems
Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts

Minimum Requirements:

years of experience in commercial property,
- multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role.

Utilizes CMMS and ECOWISE systems (BMS) to efficiently manage facility operations.
Responsible for the integrity of information in these systems and databases and ensuring these tools are fully utilized.
Safety Certification/Training
OSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification
Electrical Troubleshooting & Preventive
Electrical Maintenance training/course
Valid Driver's License

The physical demands described here must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions- Must possess the ability to stand, climb and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift:
Day shift, Possibly Tues-Sat or Wed-Sun. Holidays as needed. Subject to change
