As the Vice President of Global Sales, you will play a crucial role in shaping and leading the global sales team, devising strategies to drive business growth and success.

This senior leadership position involves spearheading the team to craft and execute the company's growth strategy. As a key member of the executive team, you will help define company direction and initiatives to secure our position as a top player in the industry and deliver value to our customers.

You will foster collaboration, trust, and alignment with our operations and manufacturing teams and establish strong relationships with a portfolio of valued customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead, coach, and oversee a Global Sales team with the aim of increasing sales and margins, surpassing targets
  • Cultivate a positive and high-performing sales culture, establish a repeatable sales process for optimal results, and mentor sales professionals at all levels
  • Collaborate with Marmon Utility's senior leadership team to define and execute successful growth strategies and operational outcomes
  • Develop and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in the sales organization's approach
  • Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators as a tool to measure sales performance and compare against previous periods
  • Enhance the organization's ability to build, support, satisfy, and nurture customer relationships, both existing and potential
  • Devise and oversee pricing strategies aligned with company goals and ensure team alignment and adherence to the plan
  • Cultivate strong ties with major key accounts and uphold excellent business relationships
  • Identify new opportunities for products/services, manage customer project needs and expectations
  • Develop business plans for key accounts, identify their needs, and devise winning strategies
  • Contribute to strategic planning, implementation, and business planning for Marmon Utility
  • Offer guidance on leveraging technology tools and fostering effective usage
  • These duties outline the VP Sales & Marketing role broadly; specific tasks may evolve with changing business and technological demands

REQUIREMENTS:


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Proven track record of leading high-performance teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering and manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales leadership, business planning, or related management roles
