JOB OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for overseeing the Quality Team. This role is responsible for organizing and managing the testing and inspection of products prior to its release. This role is also responsible for the maintenance of QA files and calibrating equipment.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify/monitor calibration of test equipment and provide routine upkeep of equipment.
  • Advise supervisor/manager of equipment needs.
  • Support Operation with all Quality Assurance needs.
  • Define and complete MAP goals (Managing and Appraising Performance) according to Callaway policy.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient lab coverage to handle production and engineering work orders
  • Handles performance management for the Quality Lab Technicians including performance reviews and disciplinary action if necessary.
  • Works towards improvements for process efficiencies
  • Work in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data related to quality specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with immediate supervisor and other personnel.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 25 years' experience in Quality Assurance related work
  • 12 years experience in supervision preferred
  • Preferred Associate's Degree in Sciences or Statistics
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)

  • The employee may be frequently expose to fumes or airborne particles
  • The employee is regularly required to sit at a computer desk
  • The employee may be required to stand, sit, crouch, walk and bend/conform in uncomfortable positions for varying periods of time
  • Will be required to use vision including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
