Bar Manager - Fuller House

Job Summary
The Bar Manager is integral to the success of Front of the house and service standards at Fuller House.

In this role, the Bar Manager will manage the overall execution of service at the restaurant, with a specific interest in the bar.

This person will be responsible for overseeing hourly training, bar product and supply orders, management of 70 hourly employees, participating in weekly meetings to help drive your business.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures in support of our goal of delivering exceptional guest experience.

Our Bar Manager will work alongside our management team to maintain seamless execution in the FOH operations. The Bar Manager actions will align with our company core values, relationship building, creative marketing, and operational efficiency. The position will help guide team members to meet all Fuller House operating and service standards.


Job Duties

  • Acts as a representative of Fuller House Core Values
  • Monitors sales and profit performance results to optimize our profitability
  • Develops and executes the rollout of new beverage programs and products seasonally
  • Reaches purchasing objective for Restaurant Bar orders
  • Conducts on/off boarding for bar employees, including disciplinary actions
  • Motivates, trains, and develops the restaurant team
  • Demonstrates and reinforces leadership behaviors necessary to gain team members' loyalty, satisfaction, and pride
  • Implements new company initiatives and procedures passed down
  • Responsible for staff scheduling for bartenders
  • Provides direction to location Managers to ensure compliance with all Company purchasing and cost budgets
  • Works with local vendors to ensure proper pricing and product availability
  • Responsible for cash handling, reconciliation and maintaining all receipts of purchases
  • Reports directly to the General Manager & Director of Operation

Skill Requirements

  • 2 years of experience leading and developing in a Bar Manager role or similar
  • Professional demeanor with effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Experience with new concepts, menu and recipe development, drink presentation, and creative skills that result in the
achievement of business objectives

  • Receptive to critical feedback from peers, management, ownership, and guests
  • Strong understanding of themed and innovative beverage preparation and selection
  • Firm grasp of beverage, and supply purchasing and inventory control.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, analyze data and draw conclusions from the information at hand
  • Ability to maintain composure and poise under pressure
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all food safety, beverage, and sanitation requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for extended periods hours)
  • Able to move about on foot to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height
frequently, or move in a constantly changing environment.

  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards

Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
