- Perform daily onsite support tasks for secure LAN users, virtual desktops, and laptops, including troubleshooting, account management, application support, and general maintenance.
- Task Area 2 - Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering Support: Assist in supporting infrastructure that facilitates both on-premise data center and cloud-based operations.
- Subtask Network Security and Patch Management: Support routine patching of servers and systems, maintaining up-to-date security patches and compliance with security standards. Manage Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware across all hosts.
- Subtask Helpdesk Support: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to the Helpdesk, helping to resolve complex technical issues and contribute to high levels of user satisfaction.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity/Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) as well as Backup and Recovery tasks.
- Must possess an associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in systems administration and helpdesk support, ideally in a hybrid IT environment.
- Junior cybersecurity certification (Security+ or similar) required.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, and any cloud certifications, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, is preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.
- Experienced in managing Windows Operating Systems and applications, capable of troubleshooting and providing effective support.
- Knowledgeable in using network management and monitoring tools and supporting virtualized environments like VMWare.
- Work hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, with occasional extended hours as needed for support escalations.
