GENERAL FUNCTION:


  • The stock associate is responsible for overseeing operational and stock support to the business by overseeing an efficient stockroom and accurate inventory. In this role, he/she must be able prioritize all of their responsibilities and provide our customers with exceptional service by supporting the selling process as needed
    .

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Commitment to uphold Furla Values & Culture.
  • Understand and follow operating floor procedures and policies.
  • Be selfmanaging; focus on effective planning and time management as well as prioritization of tasks.
  • Executes shipping and receiving process, reporting any issues to Store Manager and taking the necessary steps to resolve.
  • Efficiently preparing merchandise moves between stores (domestically).
  • Ensures an accurate and organized store inventory at all times
- overseeing cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliation with support and dedication from the store manager.
  • Report any shipment discrepancies immediately to Store Manager in addition to weekly communication on a weekly basis about the stock available and/or damages,
  • Support the team in the selling merchandising processes ensuring the highest level of client experience.
  • Assist with the process of repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure the selling floor is consistently replenished

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least 2 years of experience in previous stock role with supervisory duties; availability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and problem solve.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Full understanding of store operations and computer skills to include a retail point of sale software system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds up/down stairs with or without a ladder.
