Opkill Pest Control Limited are a successful growing business within England. We are currently expanding to the Arizona area of USA. An exciting opportunity has become available for qualified and certified pest control technicians.

This role allows new employees to learn and be involved in a career path working on our domestic and commercial contracts.

The area of work will be Arizona but you will get a set area given to you upon appointment.

You'll use chemicals and equipment to deal with an array of pests including termites, scorpions, roaches, spiders, ants, crickets, pest pigeons, bed bugs, and rodents.

You could work anywhere from people's homes to restaurants, sports stadiums, sewers, warehouses or farms.

Interviews will be held at our new premises. You must be available to attend an interview.

Your day-to-day duties may/will include:
- investigating and identifying pests
- finding out how pests are getting in
- choosing a method of control
- spraying chemicals to get rid of insects
- laying poison and traps or using air guns to control birds and animals
- repairing an area to stop pests returning
- advising people how to prevent further problems
- providing leads for add on work
- completing reports and keeping records
- handling and storing chemicals
- getting rid of dead or captured animals

You'll need:
- minimum 6 months pest control work experience

Certified pest contol technician licence.

- customer service skills
- full, clean driving licence
- confidence with maths for calculating doses of chemicals
- practical skills to investigate problems
- knowledge of health and safety
- knowledge of how chemicals affect the environment

Your usual working week will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00pm, although Out of Hours will be required occasionally.

You'll often work alone, driving to jobs in a truck from your home.

You could work indoors or outside. You may need to crawl into confined spaces or climb ladders so need to be proficient with heights.

Pay:
$42, $45,000.00 per year
