ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB is seeking an entry level
Structural Designer to join the established and growing Structures group in our VT offices.

Together, we design infrastructure that improves the safety and mobility of the traveling public while considering sustainability and environmental stewardship in the communities where we live, work, and play.
Responsibilities
- Perform design and detailing of a range of bridge types
- Perform inspections and load rating of vehicle, pedestrian, and railroad bridges
- Perform bridge scoping studies and alternatives analyses
- Utilize Bentley OpenBridge and OpenRoads software to prepare 3D designs for projects
- Calculate construction quantities and prepare cost estimates
- Develop construction contract documents and specifications

Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 01 years of experience
