Overview:

The Field Operations Trainer for the Northwest market is responsible for coordinating with the field operations team to develop and deliver trainings to franchisees. This role reports to the Director of Field Operations within the Trainer's assigned market with a dotted line to the Director of Learning & Development.


Essential Functions

  • Assist Corporate L&D Team to develop and update required and optional trainings for franchisees, including new franchisee, successor franchisee, sales, and other similar trainings that effectively communicate Massage Envy brand standards and other important information to promote the Massage Envy brand and support consistency among franchised locations.
  • Deliver trainings to franchisees while consistently presenting clear communication that franchisees are solely responsible for the daytoday operations of their franchised locations including all employment matters.
  • Work with VP of Field Operations, Director of Field Operations, and the Massage Envy Corporate Learning & Development team to identify effective learning solutions.
  • Manage and communicate a regularly scheduled training calendar to assigned field members.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of training effectiveness.
  • Consistently relay field training needs to the Massage Envy Corporate L&D Team.
  • Participates in Annual Franchise Conference and other corporate meetings as assigned.
  • Adhoc projects, special requests and other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in operations or employee learning & development
  • Knowledge of training delivery and instructional design
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel as required to visit franchised locations, conduct trainings in market, and/or other business necessities (up to 75%)
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Solid coaching & consulting skills which deliver measurable results.
  • Manages priorities and time efficiently.
  • Experience as a sales trainer/facilitator.
  • Ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Takes initiative with ability to work well under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and partnering skills.
