Assistant Sleepwear Designer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist designers with the trim and fabric library, color pallets, and flat sketching.
- Research the market and assist designer with seasonal trends.
- Be prepared to attend and assist in design meetings, proto reviews, and line reviews.
- Execute organized and accurate technical development packages that include construction details, sketches, fabrications, trims, print, and color details.
- Assist in preparations for product presentations and market week.
- Execute production packages including color and trim specifications and preparing production ready print and graphic artwork.
- Correspond with overseas factories regarding production.
- Manage day to day projects including filing and organizing.
- Job Requirements & Qualifications
- 12 years experience in fashion or intimate apparel.
- Fashion degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, & Microsoft Excel.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Excellent communication and followup skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

$40, $65,000.00 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
Garment Construction: 1 year (preferred)
Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (preferred)
