- Coordinate staff to provide consistent quality care to clients
- Utilize a web-based scheduling application for all schedules
- Create and manage schedules for employees
- Contact caregivers for shift coverage and schedule changes
- Maintain a list of available staff for immediate placement or backup
- Fill open shifts and arrange coverage for call-offs or changes in clients' needs
- Communicate effectively with Managers, Caregivers, and Clients about scheduling
- Assist in identifying hiring needs and participate in the hiring and training process
- 2 years of scheduling experience in Private duty home Care preferred
- Familiarity with ClearCare is a bonus
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, telephone etiquette, and the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and work under pressure
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and proficiency in using various technologies and computer programs are required
