Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill the role of CNC Operator and Programmer.


Responsibilities:


  • Review cut list that identifies all parts and machining requirements for the design.
  • Complete the programming for CNC.
  • Operate CNC when not programming.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Quality Ensure that all items required by the cutlist and expected by the customer have been programmed efficiently.


  • Productivity

  • CNC programmer is expected to follow proven methods for completing his/her daily output.


  • Responsiveness

  • The CNC programmer and operator is expected to have a positive and proactive attitude towards meeting and surpassing the customers' expectations.

This positions primary customers are:
Manufacturing, Installation, and the Customer.


Minimum Preferred Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Above average comfort with math and computers.
  • Drafting or design experience helpful.
  • Manufacturing or installation experience helpful.
  • Previous experience with Wood Wop program is ideal
