- Assure compliance to REC Silicon Process Safety Management policies and procedures through auditing and process safety metrics
- Organize, update & lead initial and revalidation Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for all plant units
- Schedule and conduct PSM compliance audits and manage resolution to recommendations
- Facilitate risk assessments using a variety of risk assessment methodologies including Layer of Protection Analysis
- Lead process safety incident investigations and the determination of incident root causes using REC Silicon prescribed methods
- Develop content material for PSM training
- Manage site specific process safety forms and checklists
- Provide Management of Change consultation to plant population
- Schedule and conduct regular reviews of PSM metrics with plant management
- Manager site five year PHA revalidation schedule
- Assist plant personnel in documenting resolution to PSM action items
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, information management or occupational safety and health and five (5) to ten (10) years experience in process chemical or refinery operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Detailed knowledge of REC Silicon processes and chemicals preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to read and understand Piping and Instrumentation diagrams and other internal technical information
- Ability to comprehend and interpret regulatory standards and codes
- Must be able to track and monitor performance toward established process safety goals and metrics
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in verbal communications
- Detail oriented
- Ability to build and cultivate effective working relationships within the facility organization
- Work with the Process Safety Manager to realize the implementation of strategic REC Silicon process safety goals and the enhancement of REC Silicon cultural commitment to process safety
