Director of Project Management Office
(PMO)

Key Responsibilities:

-
Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement PMO strategies, policies, and practices that align with the organization's overall strategy. Develop integration strategies that align with the company's overall goals. Prepare detailed integration plans, including milestones, timelines, and budgets.

Governance: Establish and enforce project management standards and governance to ensure consistent project and integration execution.

Resource Management: Allocate project management resources effectively across projects. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve project and organizational goals.

Project Management: Lead and manage the integration process from start to finish, coordinating tasks across teams. Manage the strategic project portfolio, ensuring a comprehensive view of all ongoing and upcoming projects. Make recommendations on project prioritization and adjustments as needed.

Methodology and Process Improvement: Implement and maintain project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to improve project efficiency and outcomes. Promote continuous improvement in project management practices.

Stakeholder Management and C
ommunication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related matters. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of both the acquiring and acquired organizations. Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and ensure that all parties are aligned. For broader project portfolio, serve as a key liaison between project managers, executive leadership, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the integration process. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address these challenges.

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the success of the integration process and progress on other portfolio projects. Evaluate whether strategic objectives are being met and identify areas for improvement.


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a PMO or M&A/integrations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated abi;ity to influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Deep understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
