WHAT TO EXPECT
As an Assistant Merchandise Planner (m/f/d), you will work closely with the Merchandise Planner and support daily operations.


These are your additional tasks:

  • You will conduct annual sales and purchasing planning
  • Part of your responsibilities will be deriving purchasing budgets from sales targets and historical data per segment, as well as allocating the budget to each product category
  • You will prepare and participate in planning and review meetings with the buying and sales team
  • You will work closely with the buying team to maximize the full potential of each segment
  • Your responsibilities will also include providing support and independently creating planning reports and adhoc analyses (such as performance and top/flop analyses), as well as deriving suitable measures and implementing them
  • You will assist with reporting and forecasting of all inventoryrelated KPIs, track the OTB, and constantly monitor inventory control, including endofseason management and overstock planning
  • You will actively participate in inseason management (e.g. sale planning)

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with 2 years of professional experience or a degree in business administration
  • You have excellent knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint & Outlook), especially Excel (pivot analyses, VLOOKUP)
  • Knowledge of ERP and planning systems and Power BI complete your profile
  • You are a native German speaker and have fluent English skills
  • You have proven your strong analytical skills, numerical understanding, and crossfunctional process
