Job Summary:

The College Marketing Director develops, executes, and oversees strategy for all marketing and communications channels of the assigned College in support of the College's and District's mission and vision.
Plans, directs, and implements the activities of the College's public relations and marketing functions in support of public information, communications and marketing campaigns as well as digital and social media initiatives; responsible for providing leadership in planning and implementing College strategic marketing, public relations and branding plans, ensuring plans meet the District's requirements.
Promotes the College to its various stakeholders designed to increase enrollment, ensures student success; highlights and advances the programs and services of the College.
Applicants will provide a marketing portfolio that showcases a successful, comprehensive marketing strategy developed for a previous employer or client.
The portfolio should include target audience analysis, positioning, messaging, channel selection, campaign artwork if applicable, budget allocation, tactics for implementation across various channel, and final outcomes and recommendations presented in a presentation format.
The portfolio will be reviewed during the interview process.Essential Functions:
20% - Manages all public relations for the college and sends out press releases to media contacts; works with the college's instructional and support areas to create positive news for internal and external media; responsible for crisis communication in collaboration with MCCCD's communications team and internal partners.
