Job Summary:


As a Processing Technician, you will also be responsible for various processes associated with the processing and packaging of high-quality cannabis goods.

This includes the handling of cannabis, monitoring weights and measurements, presentation, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness inside the processing facility and assisting with a variety of other processing tasks as needed.

You must have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and following state regulations and standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel during all phases of your shift.

Responsibilities

  • Processing Technician will work directly with the Extraction Lead and Operations Director
  • Prepping chemicals, preventative maintenance, calibration, tracking, documenting, packaging, labeling, and cleaning, in accordance with the state regulations
  • Learn and be able to perform all tasks within the facility area
  • Increase operational efficiency and reduce waste through ownership,
- teamwork, communication and collaboration

  • Keep daily inventories of all labels created, reprinted, used, and wasted
  • Perform inprocess and postprocess quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed expectations
  • Ensures 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout all processes including METRC
  • Consistently operate in an efficient manner that also complies with all state regulations, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring each product is properly labeled in compliance with state regulations
  • Monitoring inventory quality throughout processing steps
  • Disposing of waste according to state regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize inventory tracking system
  • Ensure equipment is operational and maintained on a daily basis according to the operating instructions and standard operating procedures which includes proper maintenance logs
  • Take instructions and help out on tasks delegated by management and lead personnel
  • Preparation of material to be processed in accordance with daily task
  • Ensure consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing
  • Performs all other assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility
  • Complete the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspace, all equipment, containers, and appliances
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol
  • All jobs require daily use of provided PPE

Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 21 years of age to work at a licensed Cannabis facility
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Dedication to following standard operating procedures and all state regulations, including all safety standards
  • Have an understanding of weights and measurements
  • Experience with safe handling and proper disposal of harmful chemicals and hazardous waste
  • Adaptable/flexible and able to work in an everchanging environment
  • Ability to work in teamenvironment and strong communication skills are a must
  • Ability to work independently at times throughout a workday with given directive
  • Standing, bending, and liftingup to 50 pounds, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipment
  • 1+ year of cannabis processing experience preferred

Pay:
$ $27.00 per hour
