- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures through audits and corrective action plans.
- Analyze EHS trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop enhancement plans.
- Lead incident root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Coordinate EHS training and maintain awareness among personnel.
- Manage EHS documentation, permits, and licenses for regulatory compliance.
- Develop safety procedures for new facilities and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with safety committee to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee hazardous material handling, emergency response procedures, and safety inspections.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Minimum 4 years of EHS experience in industrial manufacturing and chemistry wet lab environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local EHS regulations.
- Experience in developing EHS Management Systems is advantageous.
- Certifications like Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Team player with problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Occasional travel may be required (less than 10% of the time).
- Must have U.S. work authorization.
