ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clerical and office support to Agency Leadership including but not limited to the preparation of required monthly/quarterly reporting documents for funding contracts, meeting notes, agency training/presentation materials, and agency marketing materials such as flyers and social media posts.
  • Assist with the planning of and provide onsite support during member events, fundraising events, outreach opportunities, community trainings, and other agency initiatives.
  • Coordinate member transportation needs and provide transportation as requested.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of Agency vehicle and accurate mileage reporting.
  • Track and order supplies for agency and members.
  • Organize Art Committee, curate gallery art, complete gallery contracts and complete art sales.
  • Organize Library Committee, acquisition of new books, maintain record of library collection, supervise book checkout, and return process.
  • Provide crisis intervention and/or psychosocial counseling to members as necessary.
  • Maintain member charts in accordance with standards of care, funder contracts, and agency policies.
  • Input units of service and member service notes into agency databases weekly.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements, state and federal policies governing social services, and the NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Coordinate with and work as part of a dynamic, engaging team with other Administrative and Development staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
You might be a great fit for this position if you:

  • Have at least one year of applicable professional and/or internship experience;
  • Have experience with: Microsoft Office including Excel, Canva or Graphic Design Experience, Social Media Management, and Customer Service Skills;
  • Are committed to social justice initiatives for people living with HIV+ and the LGBTQ+ community;
  • Treat others with compassion and empathy;
  • Have great time management, organizational skills, and are detail orientated;
  • Enjoy working in a teambased environment;
  • Have a valid Driver's License;
  • Feel passionately about EDGE NJ's mission.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The compensation package for this position includes:

  • Salary Range of $44,000 to $47,000 annually;
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO);
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan;
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances fully paid for by EDGE NJ.
