- Assist coordinator and supervisor in managing all activities, daily operations in designated area of the Central Services Department.
- Implement and communicate policies and procedures as related to centralized scheduling department.
- Assist other members of the Central Authorization department by utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills for a higher-level review of difficult accounts and determine the best course of action.
- Assist and advise coordinator and supervisor in reviewing and correcting errors identified within designated area as well as from other departments.
- Manage quality control and quality improvement activities throughout the department.
- Work with coordinator and supervisor to perform audits of employee accounts according to schedule.
- Perform responsibilities of centralized services representative as outlined in the job descriptions as needed.
- Associates degree in business, secretarial science, or certification Medical Assistance or LPN. At least 3-to-5-year scheduling or registration experience in lieu of a college degree.
- Experience in scheduling and registration preferred.
- Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
