Position Summary:


A licensed plumbing service repair and maintenance company based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a motivated and organized Service Coordinator.

This role involves supporting the service department's logistics and coordination to ensure efficient completion of service tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

Work Order Management:Receive, prioritize, and dispatch work orders to service teams.

Supply Coordination:Order and manage supplies needed for service tasks.

Communication:Collaborate with the service supervisor and dispatcher to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.

Team Coordination:Work with the service supervisor, service dispatcher, and service teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Customer Interaction:Maintain contact with customers to confirm appointments and follow up on completed service calls.

Administrative Support:Assist with administrative tasks and take ownership of additional responsibilities during slow periods.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; plumbing experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Desire for longterm career growth within the company.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:50 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM, with occasional extended hours during peak winter season.
