Driver Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated delivery driver to operate vehicles and transport cargo for our company. As a driver, you must have a clean record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destination using maps and GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.

This is a full-time position 5 days a week Wednesday-Sunday from 5:00 P.M. to approximately 1:30 A.M. or until all responsibilities are complete.

Driver Duties and Responsibilities

Practice safe driving habits.
Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards.
Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter.
Load and unload vehicle.
Collect payments, document amount, and offer receipts when necessary.
Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo reports
Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.

Drive Requirements and Qualifications

A valid class C driver's license and at least two years of driving experience to perform the job safely.
Able to work alone.
Organized and able to follow a schedule.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
High School diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability, equivalent to 2 years of high school education
Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule.
Demonstrate safe driving practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage, packages and objects, as well as able to load and unload them from their vehicle.
Clean driving record
Physically able to lift and carry object up from 30 to 50 pounds.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine.
Able to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
