The Role:
  • This position is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of our Early Careers recruiting programs. This is an onsite position, based in Houston, and will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve Early Careers initiatives while ensuring they fit into our broader talent strategy.
  • Set the strategy, goals and KPIs that align to the company's business needs.
  • Influence change across all levels in the organization.
  • Partner with business leaders to set new grad and intern hiring targets across the organization and execute against the plan.
  • Report, monitor and leverage data and analytics to track progress, address bottlenecks, identify trends, and share Early Careers recruiting insights with TMHCC leaders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify target schools and develop a plan to build and sustain lasting relationships at each.
  • Plan and attend campus events to build relationships with the student population, leveraging creative ways to engage and excite students through class lectures, business speaker series, interactive student workshops, and other events or ideas.
  • Expand TMHCC's reach across university campuses by partnering with the Campus Career Centers, faculty, and campus associations to execute on virtual and oncampus events.
  • Work with business leaders and interview teams to create exceptional interview experiences that attract the best and brightest talent to TMHCC.
  • Document endtoend processes, streamline where needed, and ensure that best practices and processes are adhered to by recruiters and hiring managers.

Minimum Knowledge, Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field, is required.
  • 6+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with a significant focus on Early Careers/Campus Recruiting.
  • Experience designing, leading, and managing campus recruiting programs and initiatives is preferred.
  • Insurance industry experience OR experience working in a decentralized environment is a plus.
  • Proven change management experience with an ability to influence across levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and experience developing target school strategies, virtual sourcing and event strategies, and innovative approaches to attracting early talent to opportunities.
  • Strong project management, planning, and priority setting skills. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Adobe, SharePoint, etc.
  • Ability to travel ~30% during peak recruiting season.
