Our client is one of the leading service providers in its segment and part of a large corporate group (PE-led).

As part of the implementation of the growth strategy and the optimization of the finance department, we are looking for a long-term operational and strategic Commercial Director (m/f/d) for the Mannheim location.

Your tasks

You are responsible for the strategic and operational management and development of the commercial structure
You are responsible for the areas of finance, accounting, controlling and IT
You act as a sparring partner for experienced project managers and ensure that the financial and business aspects of the company are managed efficiently and effectively
You are responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring all financial activities of the company (budgeting, cash flow management, liquidity planning, preparation of financial reports and ensuring compliance with legal regulations)
You are responsible for controlling the department
You develop and implement control mechanisms
You analyze and interpret financial data, identify potential risks and opportunities, and take appropriate measures
You develop long-term financial plans and forecasts
You analyze business developments, evaluate investment opportunities and support decision-making based on financial metrics
