- Prepare month-end close entries for multiple subsidiaries. Timely preparation of monthly financial analyses and financial statements (balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows), and other reports
- Assist with monthly consolidation and preparation consolidated financial statements
- Maintain general ledgers for subsidiaries
- Manage subsidiary AR and AP
- Maintenance and monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Perform intercompany accounting and consolidation
- Manage bank reconciliation on multiple accounts
- Assisting with annual audits
- Assisting with preparation and monitoring of subsidiary budgets
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and addressing any issues with policy compliance
- Analysis of financial systems, procedure development and documentation
- Systems integration and migration
- Perform other accounting duties in support of the EVP of Finance as required or assigned
- Efficiency improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
- 10+ years of accounting experience required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains strongly preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP required
- Knowledge of tax law preferred
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Accounting Manager Job Summary
International Code Council is seeking a highly motivated, experienced professional to fill its Accounting Manager role. This individual will report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with the EVP of Finance. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accounting and financial control functions across the subsidiaries of the ICC Family of Solutions. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, have a strong understanding of GAAP and possess excellent financial analysis skills. In addition, they will be detail oriented, highly organized, able to work independently.
