    Description

    Must Haves:

    • Possess a current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in a design firm setting.
    • Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, and relevant engineering design software.

Your creativity and technical expertise will be essential in delivering innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership: Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, and calculations for various civil infrastructure elements.
    • Technical Expertise: Conduct site assessments, analyze survey data, perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and prepare detailed engineering reports.
    • Permitting and Approvals: Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
    • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand project requirements, develop solutions, and address concerns.
    • Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal project teams, including designers, drafters, and other engineers, and mentor junior staff as needed.
    • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Develop accurate project cost estimates and contribute to budget management.

    Requirements:

    • Licensure: Possess a current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with demonstrated project management experience in a design firm setting.
    • Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, StormCAD, HydroCAD), and relevant engineering design software.
    • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, design standards, construction practices, and local regulations.
