Minimum Qualifications
Possess the appropriate certification necessary for appointment.

Teacher 2:
Current New York State Education Department provisional/initial certification in classroom teaching in Students with Disabilities/Special Education.

Teacher 3:
Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in Students with Disabilities/Special Education.

Teacher 4:

Current New York State Education Department permanent/professional certification in classroom teaching in Students with Disabilities/Special Education and 2 years of Expierence.

Duties Description

Requirements for Continued Employment:

Possession of a permanent/professional or provisional/ initial New York State certificate in Students with Disabilities/Special Education is necessary for continued employment.

Loss of certification will result in termination of employment.

Medicaid/Medicare Requirements:

In order to be eligible for appointment and to maintain employment, you cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of the Federal and/or State Medicaid and Medicare exclusion lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally assisted program).

If you are appointed and subsequently listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of these lists (or excluded from any other Federal or Federally-assisted program), you may be terminated from your employment.
