Every detail is carefully considered to make your experience truly exceptional. During the weekends, we encourage our guests to stay and enjoy our nightclub after dinner. We aim to bring world-renowned producers to the nightclub while also introducing new artists to our scene.

The Sushi Chef is responsible for overseeing all sushi area and fish cutting functions for Bang Bang.

The Sushi Chefs will be working along the culinary staff, overseeing all safety and sanitation for the team while cultivating new dishes and recipes to enhance the guest experience.

Primary function is to work the sushi line and prep fish.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintains food and fish quality
  • Cut and prep fish for line
  • Constantly creating new recipes to enhance the guest experience
  • In charge of ordering fish and other need items for sushi area
  • Ensures that ticket times are consistently achieved while maintaining food quality standards.
  • Conduct monthly inventory
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the kitchen, passing Health Department audits and training staff on proper sanitation guidelines.
  • Ensures adherence to food safety, sanitation and storage practices, through proper training and supervision.
  • To directly assist the Executive Chef and Sou Chef in meeting or exceed established sales, revenue, and profitability.
  • Maintain safe working conditions as required by OSHA and federal, state, and local governing bodies.
  • Provide high quality customer service while talking to guests on the line
  • Maintaining a fresh service standard appearance

Qualifications:


  • At least 2 years of sushi experience
  • Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back of the house operations including: staff supervision, inventory controls and food/labor cost, and product quality
  • Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
  • Extensive knowledge on Asian Cuisine and Sushi
  • Must be able to slice and break down a fish correctly while maximizing its value
  • Must be able to build a menu and new dishes
  • Must be able to talk to guests and give a high customer service
  • You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • You have an eye for detail and you're comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required
