    Oakland, CA Full-time $150, $190,000.00Posted 04/17/2024We are a fast growing early stage venture fund investing in founders building technology companies Our portfolio consists of 15+ companies with extensive funding in various specialties.

    Due to natural growth, we are looking to bring on a fantastic head of finance.

    Develop and implement a financial plan to support the companys short and long-term objectivesManage and monitor investor relationsConduct financial forecasting and analyze budget variancesAnalyze financial data to provide insight into the company's performance and help make educated decisions on where to allocate resourcesCommunicate financial results to key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain well-documented financial and accounting proceduresEnsure compliance with GAAP and other regulationsEvaluate and optimize the companys investment performanceNegotiate and execute deals with investors, venture capitalists, and other stakeholdersProvide financial guidance and advice to managementPrepare and present financial statements, investor reports, and other documentationQualifications:Bachelors degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field5+ years of accounting/auditing/finance experience within venture capitalExtensive knowledge of financial analysis, fund analytics, venture capital, and deal structuringStrong understanding of accounting principles and GAAPProficient in financial software and other technologyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsHighly organized and detail-orientedBenefitsApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
