    Description

    Position Summary:


    This position serves as business manager with oversight of the development and progress of Research Division for The Spain Rehabilitation Center/Department of PM&R; Assesses needs and implements systems to optimize overall communication and program growth; Tracks research projects and progress for SRC faculty, acceleration awardees, and scholar awardees; Functions as a SRC liaison for external stakeholders and community partners; Collaborates with Development to strategically pursue/maximize funding opportunities; Manages marketing/public relations strategy, researches national trends for intentional growth and objective planning; serves as SRC's, budget, compliance, and grants management officer; and directs the Research website content strategy.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administrative, financial, and operational oversight of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Division including grants management.
    • Provides input and guidance on staffing/hiring strategy with center expansion.
    • Assists Vice Chair, Dr. Yu-ying Chen with strategic planning for department and research portfolio growth, including sourcing Grant funding.
    • Liaison to Chair's Office, serve on applicable committees and task forces
    • Reporting and communications for external stakeholders and inter-institutional/inter-departmental collaboration
    • Provide financial support to the Chair's Office
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Salary Range:
    $60,835 - $98,855

    Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
