- Ensure employees have arrived to work and assign vehicles and routes to each.
- Assist employees with any equipment troubleshooting issues at shift start and throughout the shift.
- Track and monitor each employee's progress through the shift and ensure they perform their job duties.
- Inspect properties for quality. Praise good performance and coach employees that need to improve.
- Ensure all employees complete their route in a reasonable time, reassigning work as needed.
- Ensure employees fuel, clean, and store equipment at the end of the shift properly and in a timely manner.
- Occasional customer contact to discuss expectations of work performed on job sites, and to advise customers on service frequencies required.
- Visit job sites to prepare bids and proposals.
- Interviewing and selecting new employee to hire. Assigning and monitoring their training and progress.
- Class E driver's license (or better) with a clean driving record (minimum of 3 years driving experience) .
- Valid DOT physical is required before start date
- You must be drug free (all employees are tested that includes marijuana)
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Possess a good knowledge of all major roads and highways in the St. Louis metro area.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.

We're a property maintenance contractor in need of a Day Shift Manager to oversee our parking lot sweepers, porters, and pressure washing crews. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
As the manager, your tasks will be:
Our sweeper operators and pressure washers work outdoors with some exposure to noise, vibrations, dust, darkness, traffic conditions, and all weather conditions.
