Katherine Caraway

I am a strong written and verbal communicator, which allows me to set clear expectations with media outlets and clients. I also identify as a lifelong learner and I love to dive into research about each new topic in order to craft the most interesting pitches for the most relevant audiences.

I'm responsible for maintaining relationships with 100+ publications. In my role, I also collaborate with approximately seven account services teams and 20+ clients, in addition to my fellow media relations team members. I am very detail-oriented and deadline-oriented. I thrive on decisiveness and I'm able to identify next steps based on the information I have on hand. My day-to-day includes employee management, topic pitching, article pitching, content strategy, and editorial consulting.

I graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism, emphasis in strategic communication.
