We are a strong and growing Heating & Plumbing manufacturers' rep agency serving all of New England and Upstate New York.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Data entry.
- Regular customer purchase orders.
- Display orders.
- Maintain display orders log.
- Create and maintain purchase orders from wholesalers and to manufactures.
- Process inventory received from manufacturer truckloads into appropriate warehouse.
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features, with assistance of manufacturer books and websites, to match products to the needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the technical and scientific wholesale and manufacturing fields.
- Collaborates with managers and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
- Submitting purchase orders and stock orders to manufacturers.
- Reviewing all order confirmations to confirm pricing and accuracy.
- Answering phones with high call volume.
- After sales and product technical support.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and Syspro.
- Problemsolving skills.
- Ability to handle high call volume.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year
