Role Summary


In support of this project, MPC is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist with (2+) years of experience to support the collection and consolidation of key information.

The role will include conducting strategic and operational planning, strategic communications, tech writing, research, and analysis, change management, program and project management support, and general consulting support.


What We Need From You (required)

  • A minimum of two years or more (2+) of direct experience in federal government strategic or operational planning, strategic communications, or organizational change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong technical, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team to research, review, analyze, write, and present qualitative data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Active Public Trust required (U.S. Citizenship required
  • NO EXCEPTIONS)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Support organizational planning efforts to produce written strategic plans, communications efforts, artifacts, and other deliverables for a range of strategic planning projects
  • Support the development of operating, strategic, and communications plans and performance documentation as well as devise and implement performance measures and related processes
  • Develop transformational organizational level plans and strategies that incorporate industry best business practices pertaining to strategic planning and risk management
  • Work with various stakeholders and engage with clients, including executives, to capture information and present written and verbal analyses
  • Navigate and interpret ambiguous and complex information

Work Location
Arlington, VA and a mix of Hybrid.


Travel
Infrequent (less than 10%)


Education Level
Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Policy, or related field (Masters Preferred)


Clearance Level
Active Public Trust required (U.S. Citizenship required
