    Solar Installer Position at The Solar Store

    We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team at a well-established solar company. The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic team players with a strong work ethic and a keen interest in mastering all aspects of installing PV solar systems. The opportunity for career growth and development is available.

    Main responsibilities for project installations:

    • Mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
    • Assembly of mounting hardware
    • Working on residential and commercial rooftops, as well as ground-mounted systems
    • Inventory management for specific projects
    • Following the layout of solar modules

    Overview:

    Support the lead technician in completing solar installations and other relevant tasks as directed. The role involves outdoor work throughout the year, with exposure to varying temperatures in Arizona. Candidates should be comfortable working on roofs, inside customers' homes or yards, and on new construction sites. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights. The job sites are based in Arizona.

    Required experience:

    • Proficiency in using hand tools
    • Valid Driver's License and the ability to be covered by company vehicle insurance
    • Ownership of basic hand tools
    • Willingness to invest in tools required for the job, such as a cordless drill and electrician's tools

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Completion of a technical or construction trade school (preferred)
    • Some background in construction work with PVC, pools, copper, electrical, or plumbing
