Health Information Management Associate

Silver Hill Hospital is seeking a Full Time Health Information Management Associate to provide support for our team in handling request for patient information.

Some specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Reviews and responds to internal and external requests for patient information.
Bills requestors appropriately for preparing material. Collects and process payments into system. Submit checks to business office weekly.
Monitors daily census for patient's Legal Status and communicates with inpatient units with missing legal status documentation.
Collect necessary paperwork for court proceedings with Probate court according to legal circumstance while maintaining clear communication with staff involved.
Review paper charts against the electronic medical record to ensure documents are labeled and scanned into the electronic medical record using appropriate note title. Scan loose documents into the electronic medical record as needed.
Ensures that all discharged charts are received from all units in a timely manner.
Navigate through all applicable database systems to complete requested tasks.

The schedule will be a 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM.
