    Position Type: Full-time, Onsite Only

    Certifications Required:

    • General Special Education Certification
    • Certification in all subjects

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Self-Contained Behavior Support Teacher for both Elementary and Middle School levels to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality education to students with diverse learning needs, particularly those requiring behavior support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
    • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
    • Utilize evidence-based practices and behavior management strategies to support students with challenging behaviors.
    • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and inclusive educational experience for all students.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to facilitate learning and address individual needs.
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress, behavior incidents, and interventions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
    • General Special Education certification required.
      • Certification in all subjects.
    • Prior experience working in schools, particularly with students requiring behavior support.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of all students.
