Outdoor lighting Contractor seeking Traffic Signal & Roadway lighting laborers & Techs


Responsibilities include:

• Drive various vehicles
• Place signs, barricades and traffic cones
• Follow all safety precautions to protect motorists and construction workers
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Move construction equipment
• Perform vehicle checks to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform other duties as requested by leadership
• Work outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• Work within the "red zone" of heavy equipment
• Be willing to train for Level 1 & 2 Tech
• Know methods and procedures for installing, repairing, diagnosing, and inspecting traffic signals, lighting, ITS, utility, tunnel and pumps station devices, common safety practices, electrical, electronic, mechanical, ventilation and public utility theory
• Perform basic project level planning and coordination, conduct material quantity takeoffs for repairs
• Communicate effectively, and under stressful conditions

_Pay varies from $20.00 -$ 35.00 hourly

Experience:

• Electronics Installation &

Repair Technicians: 1 year (preferred)


License/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)
